Sunday 5th November

Hi Guys, An update as to what is happening on sunday. The YF will be in the service sharing in communion and I am responsible for the YPG teaching. In the evening there will be a bus running to Airdrie Evangelical Church to join them in supporting Joni, Steven & Becky' as they get baptised. There is also fireworks at the rugby club which I am sure many of you will want to enjoy. Glen is also speaking in the evening at St John's, sharing some of what happened in Laos.

BTW thanks to all who are bringing friends to church, please keep doing this as I love the opportunity to meet them.

Baptism

Just an update on the details for the baptisms. The girls are going to be baptised on Sunday 19th November in the evening. The service will be held in the academy assembly hall and a temporary tank will be used. Please keep that date free as it would be great to see all the young people in St Johns support Abi, Shona and Sammy as they follow God's comand.

Change of plan 5th November

Hi Guys, YF were supposed to be having a tea and toast night on 5th November however as you will be aware that is fireworks night! Some of you will be wanting to go and see the firework display at the Rugby club and also there is a Baptism at Airdire for some of the encounters folk so a few of you will want to go and support them. Thaking that into consideration I have organised an evening to Magazone on the 3rd of November instead! It is a good chance to introduce your school friends to your church friends so take me up on my offer and bring a pal along. Let me know names....max numbers 30. klkl

Memories of Faskally

Sunday 29th October

Join me for an evening of music at Aucterarder Church. We leave from St Johns Church car park at 5.30 and will be back around about 10.30ish. Ian Whyte and High Voltage are playing and also a sweedish youth choir are singing. Should be a good evening out. Let me know on Sunday morning if you can come.

Welcome Back - October 20th

Welcome home from the holidays I hope you all had a brill time even if you stayred at home at least you had time off from school.
This weekend i am at faskally with some of the YF at the 'encounters' camp. There are 72 young people going to be at camp so please pray that all goes well and that they learn more about God.
I have left you in good hands for sunday as Crawford is taking YF with the help of Tim and Linda is doing an issue week with YPG with the help of Marco.

Sturday Night 14th October - Encounters

Hi Folks remember if you are not away on hols come along to St Michael's Church halls at 7pm saturday to 'encounters' of the God kind!! It will be finished by 10pm(please arrange to be collected) and will be a fab night. £2 cost with free food and drink.

Our service - 8th October
