Tea & Toast - YF

Tea and Toast is being provided by the fishbachers home on Sunday 4th June. Either travel direct there or meet at the Church building Union Road at 7.45. The evening will run from 8pm-10pm with food, fun and fellowship.

Boys night out

Hi Guys,
How about a trip to the movies to watch the new X-Men film. We will meet at Union Road at 6.00 on Tuesday evening. We will go to McDonalds for eats then onto Cineworld Falkirk. Please bring at least £7 to cover the cost of food and ticket. Marco and Lorna (Man for the evening - but don't call me Lewis) will provide the transport by mini bus and will drop you all off home.

An outing is planned for this Thursday. We will leave from Union Road at 7.30pm returning around 9.30ish. The cost for the event is £4 per head. There are limited spaces so you MUST let Lorna know if you plan to come along. Please don’t turn up without booking and also if you book a space and then can’t manage to come along for some reason let Lorna know so that someone else can be contacted and enjoy the evening.

Fizz and Food

YPG are going out for fizz and food on sunday evening. We will be meeting at the church at 6.30 to travel by mini bus to our destination. We will bring you home around about 8.30-9pm.
Good food/good fun/good fellowship. Be there and join the fun!

YF - Encounters

Hi Guys,

The last Encounters for this term is on Saturday in Bothwell. We are taking the minibus through and we will leave at 6.15 from Union Road. If you haven't been before please come and give it a try.

YPG & YF Sunday

Hi guys,

YPG are looking at issues about the occult on Sunday with Linda and Marie and the YF have the choice to either attend the interactive session or join Shula and myself for YF. I will be checking out names and numbers for Frenzy and Alton Towers so check your diaries before sunday and let me know if you can join us for these events.

YPG girls enjoyed the Abba experience on Wednesday Night- remember girls that was not moral teaching only a bit of FUN!

Boys - I am talking to the male leaders to try and arrange a special night out for you - I will keep you posted.

YF - Invite to Peoples church

The peoples church have Stewart Elliot (footie player for Hull city and Ireland) speaking at their YF on Saturday evening and they have invited our YF to join them. Come along and have some fun. We leave from Union Road at 7.15pm.

Hi Guys.

This sunday you will be in church in the morning. A new series is starting on Reaching Out and this means you have a choice! Communion and Worship will be first then the congregation will be asked to choose to either stay in the assembly hall and hear about the 'Big Story' or move to a classroom to enjoy an interactive session on 'Calling out' (how to share the message) or 'Bridges and Barriers' (looking at difficult questions). The choice is yours - please think about it before Sunday and chat to each other about which would suit you best. Give me a call if you want to discuss it further. This is an excellent chance to get involved enjoy it.
We also get the chance to enjoy Tea and Toast is at the Cubitt's home 7.30-9.30 meet there if you can or come along to the church Union Road by 7.30 for a lift.

Training For Mission (TFM) weekend away

Thanks to all from St John's who came along to the mission training. We all learned loads and I hope you will be able to put some of it to use at this years holiday club. The date of the Summer Holiday club is 31st July - 5th August. Pam will be arranging some specific training soon - please look out for the details.
