Footie

Something to take your mind of the exams - Airdrie Ebenezer have challenged us to a game of footie. (7 a side) They are a good team (very tough) and always win their matches - Date suggested is 13/5/05. Saturday Morning 10-11 at Linlithgow. Let me know what you think!! I have every faith in you. You can beat them.

YF - exams

Hi Guys - Sorry to remind you but I'm sure it is not far from your minds at the moment - EXAMS. Nearly there but don't despair. Remember to pray and keep calm. If you are getting stressed please give me a call and I will happily talk to you or spend time in prayer with you. You are not alone - God is in control.
Psalm 55v22 - Cast all your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.

Easter Holidays

I will not be at Church this week due to Holidays. Please check the notices about the times for the Easter Hill walk etc and enjoy eating your easter eggs. I love chocolate so if you get too many and need a help finishing them off I don't mind helping!
This is a good time for reflection - Think about where you are in your Christian walk? Think about what Jesus has done for you at the cross? Think about how much time you spend with God? Think about how you treat your family and friends? Could it be a time of new beginings!! Dust your Bible down and open it up. Read Mark 15 & 16 - it will take you around about 3 mins. Do you have 3 mins to give back to God. Remember he gave you his son.
Have a great holiday and take care.

Footie

I am so proud of the footie guys not only did they win 8-5 against Olivet but they also 'as per usual' behaved in a very appropriate way. Thanks to Billy for playing 'ref' in the rain and also to the few who shouted support from the sidelines. If you want more games against other churches let me know I have a few connections and would love to progress onto a league at some stage. We could well win!! What do you think?

BIG THANK YOU to all who came along and made the day special. I wont say much more apart from can you spot the leaders in these pictures!!! Difficult task as sometimes they are behaving like 5 year olds. I Love the fact that our youth workers don't stand back to watch but get involved. Look at all the happy faces. What a lovely day.
