YF - Tea & Toast

YF will be staying in the service on sunday to join with the church in communion. If anyone wants to talk to me about what communion is all about and why or whither you should take part please drop me an e-mail or phone me.

Sunday evening we are invited to the Gilmore's (Kenny's home) for tea and tost so please join us at 7.30/8pm home by 10pm.

Easter Day Out

We leave from Union Road at 1pm. Please remember your swimming costume!! Skinny dipping is not allowed in Perth pool. Anyone able to beat Lorraine at Go-Karting will win a prize and highest score at Ten-Pin Bowling will again win a prize! Wonder what the prizes will be - Easter time/Chocolate?????
Come along and have some fun.

Week ahead 24/3/06

SU Banter is on friday leaving Union Road 7pm. Shula and Paul are providing the transport.

Encounters - Saturday Night leaving Union Road 6pm (ish) Traveling to Airdrie Ebenezer. Come along and check it out. Fun, Food and fellowship. Lorna and Lorraine are extreem minibussing again!!

Fizz & Food - Friday Night Rachel's Home - If you need directions or transport please give me a call. Lorna will provide the games Lorraine will provide the laughter!!

Sunday - Back to normal services. YF with Shula and Lorraine studyng Friendship and YPG with Linda and Mhari.
Life force were brill last week and I am missing them. Danny's discussion on Holy or Ordinary really got me thinking!

This week ahead 13/3/06

Big thank you to all who took part on sunday evening. You did a great job sharing what has been going on in YF & YPG well done.

Life force arrive today - come to the Cormacks home to meet them if you can or come along to St Ninians hall on Tuesday evening 7.30 for the joint YF (YPG folks very welcome to come).

I have some tickets for a Ceildh which is happening on Saturday 18/3/06 evening in Airdrie. We are taking the life force team along . Lorraine and I plan to run the minibus!! We will be leaving from St John's Church hall at 6.30 please come along an join the party - show these Canadians that Scottish people can have fun!

Busy Weekend Ahead - 10/3/06

Friday Night we have an outing to Powerpoint in Edinburgh leaving St John's at 6.30 and returning home late. Lorna and Lorraine providing transport.

Sunday Evening. Remember this is the night that YOU theYoung people from St John's are taking the service so that means it would be good if you were there. 6.15 at St John's Church.

Monday evening is the first evening with the Lifeforce team and it would be great if you could come along to The Cormack's home 7.30 - 9.00 to meet the team. They will be in Linlithgow academy tues/wed/thursday next week.

Lots of opportunities so don't just sit about watching the TV come join us.

YF Tea & Toast

O What a night! Chocolate cake was fab and at least David had some toast! 9 in the phone box was 'okay' but we need to improve to beat my old church. Hope you all enjoyed the extreeme minibus experience and please remember that as Paul mentioned we are all on a spiritual journey of some sort.The type of journey and the destination is up to us to choose! Take care all and please join us for powerpoint on Friday - I am organising a minibus!!!!.

Sunday 5/3/06 - YF & YPG

This weekend we are planning for the evening service on sunday 12/3. Please share any ideas you have.
YF are coming for tea and toast on sunday evening I have purchased the bread and the tetley in specialy!!! The YPG group were great fun last week so let's hope you enjoy yourself as much.
